BECAUSE MEMORY

IS NEVER RANDOM.

Some moments remain vivid while others quietly fade. The way light fell through a window. The way a hand rested on a shoulder. The quiet understanding between two people in the middle of a celebration. Photography becomes meaningful when it preserves more than appearances. It holds atmosphere, relationships, and the subtle gestures that give a day its emotional truth.

My approach is guided by observation rather than staging, with calm direction when needed. A wedding day carries its own rhythm and becomes most beautiful when it is given space to unfold naturally. With a Master’s degree in Photography and years of experience, I have learned to recognise when presence is needed and when distance protects the authenticity of a moment.

I grew up surrounded by music and old architecture. I still notice how a room changes when the light shifts – and that’s where I look first. My visual language is shaped by music, film and design, and equally by intuition: the ability to notice what quietly matters within a scene. The work remains reduced and honest. Nothing exaggerated. Nothing forced. Only what feels true.

At the heart of it is a calm and attentive presence throughout the day — someone who notices what lives between two people and translates it into images.

“But what was especially important to us was Juliane’s calm, professional (and also very lovely) manner, with which she accompanied us throughout the day. It was simply pleasant, without the photography being the ‘center of attention’.” — K & S
